I’m not sure if these birds could make a good gumbo but they do look special. Courthouse Lane junk shop, yours for £60.

Lunchtime on Union Street SE1. Full English – 2 eggs, 2 bacon, sausage, beans, tomato and 2 toast. Only £3.30.

I’ve been going to this chip shop in ‘Bletchley’ (Bletchley Park is where Alan Turing broke the ‘Enigma’ U-boat code in 1942) since I was a kid, I especially like the 1/2 button on the till.
